Pakistan! The land of bomb blasts, terrorism, corruption, and political uncertainty is perhaps going through most critical capricious social evolution. After Musharraf’s eleven years of dictatorship, Year 2008’s elections too could not bring any economic or law and order stability, rather the situations worsen year by year. Bomb blasts, suicidal attacks, target killings, Shia genocide, Hazara community’s genocide, political leader’s assassinations, electricity deficiency, inflation, Soldiers beheaded by Taliban, Bin Laden’s matter, ethnic division in Sindh province, and other unending issues remained a big challenge for the fragile and ineffectual government. The misfortune of Pakistan continues even in 2013. History will remember 10th January 2013 as another “Black Day” of Pakistan.

A series of blasts in Quetta did not only jolt the whole country, but the Political drone attack from Altaf Hussain (Leader of MQM) too, targeted Mr Jinnah and native Sindhis has started endless arguments. In fact, the writer too intended to write on other issue, but could not resist being part of this discussion where drone has launched from London and assaulted the grave of Quaid in Karachi. Altaf Hussain, who always played a dominant role in the power politics of Pakistan since last twenty-six years, nevertheless, never participated directly in any elections, is an example of a quote that ‘anyone who says that they are not interested in Politics, is like a drowning man who insists is not interested in water.’

The conspiracy, albeit started with the return of Tahir-ul-Qadri after his self-exile, and it had a twist when Altaf Husain announced to be part of his long march. Although Mr Hussain repeatedly said, that his party would remain part of the government, nonetheless, it is out of question, that how an ally can create a situation, which establishes an impression to sabotage democracy. A few weeks ago when Supreme Court issued him a notice for the contempt, he announced for a political drone attack. However, the day he submitted ‘unconditional’ apology, he named his drone attack as “friendly” drone. Nation thought, that he would either announce for his return to Pakistan, or will convince Dr Qadri to step back due to the betterment of the country.

However, his 10th January 2013’s two hours ten minutes long speech created a new controversy about Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, in which he BLAMED that Mr Jinnah took oath to remain faith full to his majesty King George The Sixth as first Governor general of Pakistan. He further said that Mr Jinnah was a “BRITISH NATIONAL” due to holding a British passport. He nevertheless, defended his and his new political ally Dr Qadri’s dual nationalities by bizarre arguments but seriously offended the whole nation by this serious assault on the integrity of Jinnah. The most agonizing thing was to notice a stupendous and LITERATE crowd of MQMs other leaders and think tanks endorsing him in an absolute gullible way. Nobody dared to interrupt him and correct the history, that when Mr Jinnah issued a passport, at that time, there was no “Pakistan “on the World map, while India was colony of great British Empire. Irony, that the copy of the passport, he presented to the media says on Page 1B “British Subject by Birth”. Moreover, it is even described in grade three’s social studies books that King George IV appointed Quaid-e-Azam as Governor General as Quaid refused to accept Lord Mountbatten as Governor General for Pakistan even for a single day. Lord Mountbatten, however, became the first Governor General of India on 15th August 1947 under The Indian Independence Act 1947 (10 & 11 Geo 6 c.30) as an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that portioned BRITISH INDIA into the two new independent DOMINIONS as India and Pakistan. India, fortunately, made its constitution within two years and became a republic while Pakistan remained in political turmoil for further more years. However, the issue settled conclusively in the days of Pakistan’s first Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan, martyred in 1951. On May 18, 1948 he said that “ A man can be loyal only to one country, a man owe allegiance only to one state and anyone who tries to pose that he owes allegiance to more than one state is either deceiving himself or thinks that he can deceive others. And, therefore, Sir, to my mind, this is a very important condition that anyone who is to be a Member of this Constituent Assembly must owe allegiance to PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN alone.”

Altaf Hussain further taunted the nation that there was first king George IV and then Queen Elizabeth “The Emperors” of Pakistan until 1956. Alas, nobody again corrected him that Pakistan had a dominion status and there was no constitution for many years. On March 23rd 1956, Pakistan became a Republic, however, only after two years; Ayub Khan took over the control, announced the Martial Law, abolished the constitution, and linked 23rd March to the 1940 resolution because he did not want Iskander Mirza to be remembered as the first president of Pakistan. He also targeted Sindh government and threatened for the division of the Sindh. In fact, the major allegation faced by MQM, since its formation, is to work on the agenda on the division of Sindh. That is, indeed, the main reason that the party never found place in main stream politics, and only limited to a specific community or areas. This is fact that MQM never won any seat in other provinces of Pakistan apart from a massive campaign to become to the national party. In addition, party also confronted grave allegations of target killing, riots, and ‘Jinnah Pur’ controversies, and then encountered a military operation in 1992 that caused self-exile of Altaf Hussain. No matter in which context, but the statement or threat has also awakened past year’s controversy and the desperate campaign of Muhajir Province to divide Sindh. The controversy took many lives in Karachi riots and target killings, still the daily death toll of target killing is never less than double figures. MQM though always denied for any involvement in that conspiracy but Liyari Aman Committee’s chairperson Habib Jan has released a shocking confession video of Saulat Mirza, from jail, as counter drone attack. Soulat Mirza, sentenced to death, is still not convicted. It would be also in memory of people that how PPP’s former home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza seriously alleged Governor Sindh and the federal Interior Minister for the delay of his conviction.

In that video, he speaks in despair for having no hope by the party intervention to save his life. His terrifying and unbelievable confession, nonetheless, is on the description of facts that how party gave orders to him to kill people and to create such situation, which compels army to intervene and then the movement from MQM to United Nations for separation of Karachi and adjoining cities from Pakistan. Now, the main question provokes any intellectual or sane person’s mind that why all incidents are happening together. At one side, When Pak Army considered ‘Internal Security’ as biggest threat in The Green Book of 2012-13; India killed two Pakistani soldiers by undue and unjust firing on Line of control at Kashmir. At same time, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, A Dual National, with no electoral representation, is provoking for long march to change the system and Altaf Hussain (who is famous to jump out of the sinking ships) is strenuously determined to join him in capital where his party has zero representation. Furthermore, what is the guarantee that the situation from 14th January will be calm and under control when an active wave of bomb blasts has petrified the nation? Another question that when government has only two months left then why Altaf Hussein and Dr Qadri are extremely desperate to pursue with this high risk activity. Why they cannot wait for the elections, what is that urgent that they are going to create a behemothic risk for the safety and sovereignty of the country?

Dr Qadri who is no doubt an effective religious clerk, why reluctant to guide the ignorant who are continuously killing Shias, soldiers, politicians and innocent citizens including women and girls. Why his emphasis is only to change the constitution by unconstitutional way? At last the main question that on whose agenda he actually is working on. From where did he bring massive funds to run this campaign with such Politics that is nothing but a gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich by promising to protect each from the other? Finally, has the big game really begun, shown on some maps in early 2000s? Is this all happenings are a planned script, which is repeatedly warned by friends of Pakistan? If such conspiracy is set then why our leaders are acting according to that script and why no agency disclosing that evil plan? .

Is it still not our war?

“When they are united from Afghanistan to Karachi, then why we are still scattered and reluctant to own that this is not out war. They say that it is only ANP’s war. ‘No’ now they are killing us first, but then they will kill you too.” ANP’s leader Asfandyar Wali said these words in extreme grief on the funeral ceremony of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s brave son Bashir Ahmed Bilour. A suicide bomber targeted Senior Minister Mr Bilour along with eight other victims after an ANP public gathering leaving him seriously injured. He was shifted to the Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.

These words and the pain on his face gave me the visuals of a classic tale in which a fisherman gives one arm, then another and then both legs to the alligator on the hope to be saved but finally is eaten by the monster. The current situation of Pakistan is same, where the monster started eating starting with former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Punjab’s Governor Salman Taseer, a Christian minister Shahbaz Bhatti and countless numbers of others. Hundreds of soldiers beheaded. Thousands of civilians, police officers, politicians killed in blasts. The barbarians did not even spare women and children and from innocent lady Polio workers to fourteen years old Malala Yousufzai who luckily survived the head shot. Bashir Bilour was the man who played a key role in peace accord with Taliban earlier in 2009 but the monster was not satisfied on limited powers so the agreement abolished within few months costing life of ANP’s Top leader Miyan Iftikhar’s only son and other two-member parliamentarians. Surprisingly, all killed politicians belonged either to ANP or to PPP, therefore, a large number of a specific mind-set including top politicians reluctant to own the war against terrorism, and the monster continues killing. Sadly, media is not as responsible as expected. Federal information minister Qamar Zaman Kaira thrashed the double role of some news channels on terrorism issue. He further pointed out to ban the statements released by terrorists, as a top journalist after every major incident appears on TV as TTP’s spokesperson. It is unthinkable that when our agencies in 2004, killed Naik Mohammad in a drone attack by tracing his phone call, how failed to detect or trace an enormous numbers of calls made to that journalist and others.

It is also surprising that where those few anchors of media, blindly competing the race of Social vigilantes cannot work on these lines. When they have no fear to violets all privacy, defamation, assault and other laws entering into private premises as trespassers along with cameras, Who can harass public and even police officers ignores acts of terrorism or other controversial issues. For example, at one side, media showed completely solidarity with the Chief Justice of Pakistan on his son’s alleged corruption case, but remained silent where there were gross incidents of his insult and character assassination on roads of Karachi by a group. Similarly, no media crime reporter investigates murder stories of their fellow journalists killed by terrorists neither they follow other high profile cases like polio worker killings.

On the other hand, people too perhaps became numb. Pakistanis are the only nation with extremely short-term memory. Only within twenty-four hours of this high profile assassination, from media to people, all got engaged into Cricket saga and a new political drama of a Canadian national religious Scholar Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri who has captured the whole attention of media out from nowhere with a bizarre agenda. He said that country’s democratic system has completely failed. He gave the government three weeks deadline, until January 10, to improve situation otherwise he would lead a protest march towards Islamabad with four million followers. He further said that the state is in danger and he is back to support the constitution. Now the irony, that the constitution does not allow a dual or foreign national to be elected in parliament. A huge number of parliamentarians have recently lost their seats after a significant decision of Supreme Court. Therefore, it is out of the question that he would find any space in the electoral system; also, he did not mention that from where he brought an impressive amount of money to launch this mega campaign of his return. However, the religious cleric gave a hopeful lollypop to NON POLITICAL ACTORS. He announced his proposal and demanded for a caretaker setup consisting Army, Judiciary and other political stakeholders. Now when the agenda is to save constitution then how army and judiciary can fit in to the system is again a myth. However, there is a big rumour that he is back to the country with some hidden conspiracy which would not allow electoral system to play a vital role in country’s future where US is planning to leave Afghanistan in 2014 and Afghanistan will form a moderate government. That might be the reason that he is not only strongly supported by Sindh’s leading regional party MQM’s leader Altaf Hussein whose party always remained in power since formed, but also, a large number of MQM local leadership specially went to participate in his rally which no doubt was a very impressive show in Lahore’s history. Moreover, Imran khan too has surprisingly supported Dr Qadri. He released a statement that Dr has ‘actually’ come along with his agenda; critics said that this could be taken as an indirect gesture to the possible future setup of the Troika. However, the other senior members of PTI not only insisted that elections are the only option to continue political system of the state, but also Makhdoom Javed Hashmi highly criticised Dr Qadri. Imran Khan, in addition, under a huge criticism countrywide by women parliamentarians, after his controversial statement on women reserved seats in assemblies. He has also failed to give a clear policy against Taliban. His statements are always confused and dual Considering the scenario of Punjab, PML(N) is in most critical condition as it is already struggling with PTI and now the new threat has also emerged. However, for Taliban they have a solid policy against any operation. PML(N)’s top leader Chauhdry Nisar repeatedly called them BROTHERS in many statements and always opposed for any possible action in South Waziristan, though, after Bashir Bilour’s assassination and repeatedly incidents of polio worker killings cases, PML(N) too under extreme pressure to deny the operation. Pakistan Peoples party, nevertheless, is passing through most critical phase of the political career. In past five years, the party has not only failed to satisfy the hopes of people all over the country but also facing an incredible rage and reaction from the province Sindh after passing the new law on Local bodies. However, President Zardari recently made another major upset after appointing Makhdoom Ahmed as Governor Punjab. The act clearly sabotaged the strength of Functional Muslim League after their impressive rally in Sindh. However, the party position is still in turmoil in Sindh and it is very unlikely that only after three days Young Bilawal Bhutto will be in position to deliver any solid agenda, who has still not reached the age to participate in elections. President Zardari is already cuffed by court orders to act neutral as president. Moreover, PPP government has also completely failed to catch the culprits of BB’s assassination. Therefore, the position of party is sinking, until it comes up with some very big surprise and almost impossible proposal, which can only be the name of Fatima Bhutto to join the party. However, the party position is clear on war against the terror, in fact PPP, MQM and ANP are the only parties with a clear stance against Taliban and that is the main question that what would be the policy of forces and government after Bashir Ahmed Bilour’s assassination. ANP’s woman member Bushra Gohar strongly opposed option for further negotiations with TTP, she clearly alleged that “EVERYBODY” knows about the whereabouts of TTP, therefore, why there is no action is taken or in progress to vanquish the evil forces. She said that, there is no classification between good or bad Taliban they all are same, they all kill us without any discrimination and they will continue killing our children and us. She further urged that until how long we will keep our children in continuous trauma and will live the life with an utter fear, how many more dead bodies and Malala does our nation needs to own this war?

Yes, only three days before the fifth anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, how many more Benazir, Malala, Bashir Bilour, Salman Taseer, Malik Saad, and other dead bodies our leaders require to own this war…. !

The black day of 9/11 again brought a new conspiracy with a black day in Ben Ghazi, Libya, where US ambassador along with second diplomat, Sean Smith, and two other US officials killed by an outrageous mob. A large group of furious and notorious people savagely stormed Embassy as a reaction against movie “Innocence of Muslims”. The two-hour long movie, which sparked protests and wrath of Muslims in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya, and other Islamic world, credited to a writer and director Sam Bacile who describes himself as an Israeli Jew and said to be lived in California. However, there is no record found of him on that particular address or with other portfolio as a director. Steve Klien, who was consultant of that provoking movie, said to Los Angeles Times that he is not responsible for violence, also he had no idea about the reaction of Muslims. He further said to Atlantic Magazine that the name of the director Sam Bacile was a pseudonym. However, Klien declined to identify Bacile and only said that he is man in fifties and a Christian. The clip of the movie was first posted on you tube in this July by same name Bacile. Moreover, it apparently made with the aim to outrage emotions of Muslims. The whole movie is clearly a production of an amateur and actors not only stiffly delivering dialogues against the prophet Mohammad but also ridiculously mocking the life of the prophet. The film also portrayed (Nauzobillah) Mohammad as naïve, and a philanderer. Moreover, there are clips of sex scenes with ridiculous dialogues is blasphemous to depict the Prophet.

The apparent cause of the contumelious reaction of Arab world was the dubbing of the movie in Arabic. Therefore, violence was mostly limited to Egypt and Libya initially, though now it has not only spread until Tunisia and threatened to spread in other Muslim Countries but also strongly condemned by Muslim leaders. Karzai condemned the film as a devilish act. In Egypt, Prime Minister Hisham Kandi vowed to act against the filmmakers. Pakistani Politician Altaf Hussain also wrote a letter to UK government. However, no Islamic leader encouraged Muslim community for any provoking activity with violence. Therefore, the question comes in mind that when the clip was uploaded in July then why the reaction occurred specifically on 9/11? There are some reports of sending the clips by text messages to Arab youth a few days before 9/11. . We cannot deny the link of Al-Qayeda extremists as one Libyan security official blamed the attack on Ansar-Al-Sharia, which is Al-Qaida’s Sunni Islamist and active group in Benghazi. So one is forced to think that, what benefit they would get by putting Islamic world into further jeopardy. What is the specific agenda of killing an innocent US consular, who had close personal terms with Muslims, when actors of the movie are also known? One cannot deny that there might be one evil mind behind this whole conspiracy. Who clearly knew and set all points to play at right time. As it is beyond imagination that when US consular staff rushed to safe house after initial attack, which was supposed to be a secret place, then who told the groups about their whereabouts? Why the mob specifically chose this day which in nothing but a nightmare not only for US but for whole Muslim world. What are the links of this attack with the upcoming elections in US?

Who is Sam Bacile? Why he chose Muslims and this topic for his filthy movie on this specific time i-e US elections? What can be the worst outcome when US Marine would arrive to Libya to “Deliver Justice?” after president Obama’s statement that “justice will be done”. Finally the last but not the least question, that why the haunting ghost of 9/11 why only chooses Americans and US?

"The Game continues after checkmate."

“Mama! That is checkmate.” My young daughter giggled and said it to me when in a very controversial and humiliating press conference Senator Faisal Raza Abidi showed the documents that the address of F&A Enterprises was Chief Justice House. I shook my head and gave a very ignorant gesture to her because Isaac Asimov’s words started comforting me that “In real life, the game continues after checkmate.” Although, it was really surprising for me that unlike past events WHY there was no suo moto from Supreme Court or WHY the registrar did not appear in scene for any clarification. I also wondered about the authenticity of the account number 01104739201of Silk Bank and then transactions above ten million, that how it is possible to have millions of transactions? As Chief Justice himself on 7th June 2012 gave a statement on Quran in Supreme Court that he did not own even a single, vehicle land or residence anywhere in country, and that he took loan from HBFC for valima ceremony of his son Arsalan Iftikhar. So a son who is dependent of his father, how come can have millions of rupees in business, or how and why someone would take loan from HBFC if they already have millions of rupees.

However, hold this question here, because the conspiracy further confused me when Senator Abidi argued in his unbearable outrageous tone that how could he take loan from HBFC when he did not own any land or residence. He further alleged that even if there was some land or residence, the loan was supposed to be consumed on the construction and not on wedding. He did not end there; he further alleged that the Honourable Chief Justice was born on 12th December 1948 while the loan is allowed for the people aged 18-60, while he is 65 now, therefore, under which law he was given loan?. He also said that the maximum limit of loan is 10 million while the expenditure of the ceremony in Marriott Islamabad was 30 million rupees. Now that was the limit to outburst my anger as I wouldn’t hear or watch that dirty filth against my honourable Chief Justice, who is symbol of freedom of civil society and independent judiciary. I turned off the TV in extreme fury and started biting my lips. That was the moment when my daughter giggled and said “Mama...! That is checkmate.”

I shook my head, gave her a very bad gesture and said that ‘No, how it can be checkmate when the game shall continue in real life’. I then started communicating with some big fishes of media and lawyers about there opinion. I wanted them to launch a demand to Supreme court to give a good lesson to this senseless senator, (who himself calls him a crazy). I argued that why and how a crazy can hurls with such false evidences with grave allegations. I demanded that why not to make him an example for next generations, that no one shall dream about any humiliation for our holy judges. I suggested that there should be some law for anyone, who speaks such nonsense, immediately be send to prison, or there should be some law like blasphemy that no one ever dares to speak against our supreme judiciary even on twitter and Facebook, and if they cannot control, then they must block these sites. Exactly the way, they abolished the recent relentless bill of Parliament. Huh.. The Parliament…, which is nothing but filled with corrupt people, elected by ruthless and illiterate voters. I persuaded them that his suspension from core committee of party is not enough but he should also be disqualified from his senate seat, the same way they disqualified ex-PM Gillani for his grave contempt. I told my lawyer colleagues to launch a serious demand to Supreme Court to take suo moto action, as it was ABSOLUTELY not possible that an official residence of a Chief Justice can be declared as the 'head office' of a private company. I also sought for a justification from Supreme Court for a biased report in which Islamabad police cordoned off a market of Islamabad when Arsalan Iftikhar wanted to have coffee.

I wanted to demand from Supreme Court that there shall be some law in blue books which provides FULL PROTOCOL, not only to our holy judges but to their family members too, as they are not only holy for us but they are highly vulnerable and under security threats of our bull headed agencies. However, as anything is possible in Pakistan, therefore, story did not ended here. I received a very annoying call from Pakistan where a CHEAP Journalist taunted me and said that Arsalan Iftikhar has given a statement in a newspaper that the address of his FATHER’s OFFICIAL residence was nothing but a mere fact,( although in those days the honourable Chief Justice was suspended). He further taunted me that The Senator is not sacked from core committee neither his entry to presidency is banned, he is ONLY given a show cause , he also informed me about the provoking interview of infidel Aitzaz Ahson to BBC where he clearly said that this judiciary is biased, which is not beneficial for the better good of the country. (‘Huh… He is not in senses after losing his worth.’) I mumbled. That cheap journalist was nevertheless in the mood to irritate me, he at end giggled and said, “ .Seems like a checkmate.”, ‘Ohh! why this word again?’ I could not control on my temper and hung up in extreme irritation and anger, and since then again biting my lips, shaking my head that ‘No, the game must continue after this grave humiliation. The judges must teach them a lesson on 8th of August.’ I am sure that my FREE and INDEPENDENT judiciary would not disappoint me and would certainly teach such a lesson not only to this insurgent senator but also to the disobeying government too in a way that no one in future would ever dare to speak ruthless. I know my INDEPENDENT judiciary would not disappoint me…!
