The dirty politics of Pakistan

Everything is fair in love and in war and Politics is the art of looking for troubles. Nevertheless, in Pakistan, this is the game of jeopardizing democracy with dirty approaches to gain power. Every way that leads one to the roads of Prime Minister Secretariat or presidency is acceptable. No matter what ‘sacrifice’ or ‘compromise’, but the road must lead to the power. The country where the history of democracy is very fragile as the military has directly ruled and even in democratic times has intervened secretly, or openly. Either it is judicial murder of Bhutto, removal of Benazir by involving her in murder of her own brother, or the Kargil revenge from Nawaz Sharif. The establishment intervened repeatedly directly or indirectly to derail democracy by creating controversies or by pumping up non-democratic factors to involve in the bloody game of dirty politics. In 2008, when all parties succeeded against Musharraf’s so-called democracy, it seemed chances to block establishment forever. They could draw a very distinct line of separation of powers within the institutions. However, anything is possible but not fairness in Pakistan. The series of controversies started from 2009 and the recent controversy is the famous Memo gate Scandal. Where an elected president, PM, an ambassador, all are ridiculed due to the poisonous propaganda war of media, opposition and establishment. It is funny that the whole media, opposition, judiciary and even Army regime has believed on that man who has also said that the ISI chief had visited Saudi Arabia to sack the president. ISPR has however, denied the allegation after nine days of the report published in the English newspaper, but Aasma Jehangir has raised the argument in the court that when one part of his statement has caused a big chaos in the country, then why the other part is not considerable? She has also argued that on which authority The ISI chief went to the United Kingdom to meet Mansoor Aijaz. The anger of army is so strong that the rumour factory produced the peak when the president went to Dubai for his treatment. They started writing that he would never come back, and when he returned, they said that he has made a deal to return. And now again when there is no visible deal, they are writing that the government will collapse within either a month or the judiciary will create a way to pin down this government. Unfortunately, the judiciary has also become controversial after giving an ambiguous protocol to Nawaz Sharif, which is shown by many channels and have raised the question on the impartiality of Supreme Court. PPP is fair to argue that why judiciary is always active against them and why not for anyone else. However, apart from the media hype, the government is pretending to work normally and making the last reforms, which they should have done a long ago, as general people really do not care whether who remain or not, or about the memo scandal or the strategic conspiracies they only care for their own issues. They only care for electricity, gas, and fuel prices or the availability. Nevertheless, the misfortune for the country continues to keep nation busy in this no agenda, stock exchanges are down, economy has no future, factories are closed due to no gas and electricity , police is demoralised, but the dirty game is on. The only agenda for an invisible mastermind is to demolish the system. Everybody say that he would not play under the hands of establishment yet they do exactly the same, what is written by some invisible ghost in the script for them to play. They think that they are playing the game but in fact, they are part of that great game which has made politics nothing but a very dirty business in Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif needs new elections, Imran needs new elections, or may be people also need new elections, but what is the manifesto or back up to prove this government wrong? People had great hope in Imran, who could become a ray of hope after fifteen years of struggle, but the way he is inducting bad reputed and rotten politicians, has created many doubts about his credibility that either he is a hypocrite or desperate to do anything to get power. The allegation that establishment is on his back is also a big question, as he disclosed name of Mr Haqqani (Ex Ambassador of Pakistan in US) in his Lahore rally when nobody knew that Haqqani was involved in the memo scandal. Many wondered that when even government did not know then how he knew about the involvement of Haqqani. Also, A great number of controversial ex ministers and other feudal have joined him so the claim seems vague that he will be affective to stop corruption in the country. He himself has confessed after a big criticism for a new member of his party who has serious allegations of drug dealing, that he could not induct angels in his party when corruption is from top to the roots of the society. He however, still claims that he would bring a great team but from where? The way he has thrown his old and ideological members from the key positions of his party, is exactly opposite what he says. Why people should believe in his words, which is different from his actions. Similarly, Imran speaks against Drones attacks in Pakistan, while two major members (Mr Qasoori and Qureshi) of his party are ex-foreign ministers of Pakistan. He is unable to answer the question that if he really against these attacks then why he has kept these two men, who were responsible for all foreign policies. Another shock for the public is the language used in his rallies and addresses by him or his number two Mr Qureshi. Qureshi had a great image as most sophisticated foreign minister after Bhutto. However, the way he criticise the president with cheap and filthy words, has created a big question that are they really going to bring change for which civil society dreamt since decades? The most fearful thing is the development of a very dangerous trend from his Qasoor gathering, where people have vandalised almost 10 million worth property. Media showed live that how did they looted madly, took even banners to make blankets in their homes. However, Instead of condemning the attempt, he rather protected them that they did it due to poverty. The civil society supported him blankly in all these years is in shock that why he defended them when he could request them to return the goods or could ask the police to find the goods, they must have been thinking that is he really the leader, they are dreaming for ?

Hi Tony Blair! Isn’t it time to Say “Yes” or “No”????

August 2011 was the month of storms. Irene for America, riots for Britain, while in Pakistan, the super nova was blown by Dr Zulfiqar Mirza (Former home minister of Sindh Assembly), by declaring Altaf Hussain as head of terrorist organisation. He mesmerised the Pakistani media and nation for completely two consecutive hours during his live press conference by holding holy book Quran on his head. He made a number of enormous allegations not only against Mr Hussain but also against Home Minister Mr Rehman Malik, for being responsible on Karachi’s situation but declared him as “BIGGEST LIAR OF THE HISTORY”. He also showed a letter written by Mr Altaf Hussain on 23rd September 2001 to the ex-prime minister of UK Mr Tony Blair. In that, he seeks disbandment of the Inter-services intelligence agency ISI in Pakistan. He offers his party services to arrange high scale demonstrations in favour of UK and US. He also offers to provide resources for human intelligence within Pakistan and in Afghanistan against terrorism. He assures that his people will also keep an eye on the activities of religious madrasas in Sindh and Punjab. He offers that first demonstration will held on 26th of September 2001 in the major city of Pakistan, Karachi, where he assures the presence of hundreds of thousands of people. In return, he demands for jobs of Muhajir and Sindhis in Sindh police. He shows his deep concern against ISI that if they would not be disband; they would PRODUCE more Osama Bin Laden in the country and region. Dr Mirza also alleged Mr Hussain that he told him in person during their London meeting that he is working under US agenda to break the Pakistan by killing Pashtuns. Before making this allegation he did not only kiss the holy book several times but he kept holding over his head until completed the statement, The style of this statement naturally created an earth quake in Pakistan’s politics. Where it is a custom to take an oath on the holy book before any controversial statement, and once they do it, It is assumed that whatever they have said, shall be taken as the truth. His outburst style with holding the holy book and then accusing Mr Hussain and Rehman Malik captured the attention of public and media. He suddenly became the most important and most discussed person of Pakistan in Pakistani media and people. Therefore, for counter statement, people would not accept any justification but Quran. MQM remained quiet for few days, which can be said a huge mistake by the party. As people were supposed to assume that whatever he had said and alleged was completely authentic. In some newspapers, a number of journalists (like Ansar Abbassi Jang Group) wrote that the SPY MASTER (THE ISI CHIEF) had also confirmed that the letter is genuine. Again, there was no justification made by MQM until the former Mayor of Karachi Mr Mustafa Kamal made counter allegations against Mr Mirza while for the letter he declared it bogus only on the reason that the address mentioned on the letter pad is wrong address. He said that the address on the letter is “70 Colindale Road” which is bogus and fake as the current office of MQM is at Edgware road. However, his justification was highly ridiculed by media, as the above address is on MQM’s own website in their old archives. And it has been proved by many other resources and press records that MQM used 70 Colindale Road as their office. Therefore, the hype and the heating conspiracy of the letter written to Mr Blare really created a great turbulence within the country after his statement. Now there was nothing left for MQM either to confess for that letter and the other allegation or to bring some more solid statement. Therefore, on Friday 9th of September, MQM announced that Mr Hussain is about to come with a boosting address to his party workers with a blasting truth revealing press conference. He held a live press conference on same evening, which is said to be the longest live press conference in the history of Pakistani media. More than 60 channels telecasted his live speech, which lasted more than three hours. Despite answering about the allegation of Zulfiqar Mirza Altaf Hussain came along with more conspiracies. He showed a map in which Pakistan not only shown into multiple independent regions, but some of her part is also allied with Afghanistan; He expressed his fear that he will be soon killed as he is against the international conspiracy plan for breaking Pakistan. When he was asked by a journalist that who made that plan? He blamed America. Apart from a huge criticism of his longest ever speech, his awkward mimics, singing, threatening and various moods, he completely ignored Dr Mirza’s allegation rather he avoided to answer when was asked, nevertheless, it was clear from his body language that he was scared. But, why and from whom he was scared? Now there are two questions…. 1- Does he really know about some conspiracy to break Pakistan? If so, why did he named America when he himself offers them to work for them for the war against terror in the alleged letter written in 2001. What happened in these ten years that America wants him to get rid of him? Did he work against them? Alternatively, did he do something beyond he was granted permission to do so? 2- Does he know about the progress of Imran Farooq murder case investigation? As there is very strong rumour in Pakistani media, that Scotland Yard have some clue of his involvement, while MI6 is supporting him. This is irrelevant question that Why and how this rumour has spread? Now Apart from digging more in the discussion of “kon Sacha Kon Jhoota” (who is liar and who is not) to break the Pakistan, I am only confused and highly curious about the authenticity of the letter... I think Mr Blair is the person, who can answer the question that was there any such letter written to him. I hope that he would not ignore to answer my question. Apart from going into further controversies, I only request him to say Yes or No… I really have no concern that If yes, then what was the action taken from the UK government for his offer? If so, did UK really take the benefit of his offer? I do not want to ask that what the resources provided from MQM to help US. I do not want to ask this too that How far they helped US to provide human intelligence against Taliban. I am not interested that Was Musharraf aware of this offer? If yes, then did he take any action against his own subordinate agency ISI chief General Mahmood? As MQM was major part of his government. Can one assume that the sudden removal or retirement of General Mahmood was result of this letter? No.. I really do not want to go in deep controversies despite the fact that the name of my blog itself is @controversies. I only need you to answer YES or NO. How simple… So Will You..??? Can You…????

From ‘The Doctrine of reconciliation’ towards ‘The Doctrine of Rollback’.

Could anyone imagine 30 years ago on the “Doctrine of Rollback” by the most powerful and popular party of Pakistan, whose leader chosen death but never stepped back or apologised for his policies?

The legacy of Bhutto continued even by his heir Ms Bhutto, who faced a continuous trauma and turbulence during her, both tenures. She was compelled to leave the country after not finding justice even from courts of that time, but even then she struggled along with her bitter political enemy for the survival of democracy during Musharraf’s military regime. The combined struggle forced Mr Musharraf to step back and start negotiations with Ms Bhutto and thus was the beginning of ‘The doctrine of reconciliation’, which was continued even after brutal assassination by her husband Mr Asif A. Zardari in the making of his coalition government along with their political opponent Mian Nawaz Sharif.
It seemed in those days that Pakistan will soon emerge as a strong economical and peaceful country in the region again, where a bloody war continued in Afghanistan due to American vandalism and terrorism took the life of the only most popular leader of the country.
However, a series of blunders turned the new friends into worst enemies.
It is certainly not funny to see the recent history of decisions by the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party. The series of rolling over started refusal of restoration the judiciary which ended Musharraf’s stable government. Mr Zardari, however, again convinced Mian Sharif about his compulsions and they struggled together to remove Musharraf together in the mid of 2008. After the removal of Musharraf, Mr Zardari chose himself to become new president of Pakistan as at one side he did not wanted another Leghari to end their government and at the other side he was afraid by the re-opening of the cases which were ceased by the NRO.
He was elected with a huge majority and it was possible not to create any conflict by again refusing the restoration of CJ for which he struggled to kick out Musharraf out of the country. However, the inside men of PPP claims that he still was helpless and had to follow the instructions of the unseen. Anyway, he took the blame on him, and said that promises are only promises and they shouldn’t be taken as verses of Quran.
His statement provoked anger and rage in the leadership of PML-N and from beginning of 2009, an incredible movement was started by Mian Nawaz sharif, which was highly supported by the top class civil society, media and even by the inner core of army. The governor raaj in Punjab and the solid statements of presidents let everybody think that the mind-set of PPP’s government is clear, and they would never step back. However, the whole exaggeration ended by a four line summary issued by the presidency for the restoration of CJ at mid night, Mian Nawaz Sharif was convinced by the ‘unseen’ to go back and sleep at home instead of continuing long march towards Islamabad.
That decision certainly ridiculed the whole regime of PPP, that if they had to step back then what was the reason to upraise the issue. Publically, whatever they said but in private most of the PPP ministers confessed with embarrassment that even they would not know an hour before that such order is going to be issued by presidency, they further said that if Nawaz Sharif would succeed to reach Islamabad, it might end their newly born government. Therefore, the high command had no other way left but to rollback.
Nevertheless, the series of funny decisions continued, it had become the trademark of PPP on behaving rigidly on important issues, uprising the chaos on that particular issue, allowing ministers for furious statements and then again rollback at the same position, from where they started.
A same drama has been repeated in the recent conflict with MQM (Which is Karachi and Hyderabad’s largest part). The controversy started on the possession of the seats in Karachi for AJK elections. MQM’s leader Altaf Hussain claimed that they were told to surrender one seat for PPP. Which they wouldn’t accept in any case, after his typical furious speech, they resigned from the provincial government and as the reaction, PPP’s government announced to end the recent local bodies electoral system along with bringing back the old commissionaire system. The order was passed by the acting governor Sindh Mr Nisar Khoro and was approved in a very convulsive session of Sindh Assembly where majority of members supported the ordinance.
This decision did not only bring back an impetuous and warm welcome by native Sindhis but at the other hand brought massive clashes and massacre backs in Karachi as well. Hundreds of people killed in a week, PPP and ANP blamed MQM, while at the other hand MQM blamed ANP and PPP for the massacre. Police remained powerless and helpless to catch any vigilant. The situation became worst with the statement of Ex-Provincial Interior Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, in which he highly criticized Mutehada’s leader Altaf Hussein. The next day MQM showed up the street power by aiming his house, hundreds of people gathered on the roads of defence to burn out the house of Dr ZulfiqarMirza who is also husband of Pakistan National’s assembly’s speaker Ms Fahmida Mirza. The show created a significant turbulence in president house to calm down the anarchy. The statement was highly disowned by the own leaders of PPP and Dr Mirza was left alone to face the fury of Muhajirs. He did not only immediately issued a video apology but was also called and ridiculed later in president house. However, even that couldn’t stabled the situation. Now there was another voice on roads, which was for a separate “Muhajir Province”, The campaign could not make a significant respectable place even after a number of supporting statements by MQM’s leaders or by non Sindhi media. MQM however, never owned publically that the wall chalking is actually by their own workers, but they warned that such voices were the reaction of the muhajir community after the massacre, and it could rise if they are pushed towards wall.
President Zardari tried to resolve the issue, the analysts says that it was whole set plan by PPP to restore the commissionaire system but they wouldn’t know about the reaction of MQM, which was worst by the statement of Dr Mirza. He made a trip to England and tried the back channel diplomacy by his close friend Dr Asim, but that failed at that moment. The MQM leader Altaf remained very furious and the massacre continued in Karachi. Police, rangers and FC seemed to be completely helpless in that whole scenario. They couldn’t even enter to ‘No Go Areas’ to keep the law and order situation in control rather than to arrest any, it did not showed a complete failure of administration but again it showed the hold of MQM in those particular areas. According to an international observer for UN, the circumstances of Karachi turned worst than Baghdad and there were the signs of a clear civil war between major political groups of Karachi on the hold of areas.
Therefore, Mr Zardari stepped back to their demand (if there was any) for keeping one seat in Karachi. Moreover, it brought back MQM’s governor back to his office to resume charge as Governor Sindh. At that point a senior analyst and journalist Mr Najam Sethi predicted that it would not only end here, but PPP has to roll back the commissionaire system again. However, at that point it was strongly denied by the PPP’s ministers that there is any chance of rolling back the decision. However, at the other hand, their efforts to bring back MQM in power continued, not only this, there were hidden orders to Police not to arrest major political players in recent riots. According to a high rank police officer (posted in Karachi, who requested not to disclose his name) Police is in completely hopeless and helpless condition, as they clearly know who the killers are but they politically pressurized not to arrest them despite of the fact that MQM was in opposition.
As the result, Economy collapsed, business and other activities paralyzed, people suffered but the massacre continued in that cursed city. Besides this whole story, Sindh government kept doing transfers and postings to adjust officers of Police and District management group to place officers in the new system. Dozens of officers posted and transferred, dozens of posts abolished or created.
This situation put MQM too into more pressure, they tried to overcome the crisis by their typical threats, Altaf Hussein appealed to Muhajirs to sell jewellery and buy ration for whole month. It indicated the very serious preparation of upcoming serious civilwar. Not only this, he again issued a highly provoking statement against native Sindhis, which blew the temper of Sindhi nationalist leaders and nations. People immediately came on roads, Nationalists called for an immediate strikes and demanded him to apologise.
His statement was not only taken seriously in India but in UK the vice, foreign minister Mr Alistair Burt expressed his deep concern on that statement with a telephone call to Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad. ( As according to UK Laws, such statements can be taken against peace , which could harm the stay of Mr Altaf Hussain, and it would not matter that either he is British or not ) Therefore, it has been assumed that Dr Ishrat did not only promise for co-operation but, the statement was also immediately taken back with an apology to Sindhi nation by Mr Hussain. He, however, said that the core of his philosophical statement was not for the division of Sindh province and was completely misunderstood by the Sindhis.
However, PPP continued the back channel diplomacy to bring situation in control…, the active Sindhi ministers, and workers were told not to issue any provoking statement. which may have worsen the impacts of negotiations and even the Chief Minister Sindh could not play a major role in these talks with MQM, who did not only demand to roll back the old system but for some key ministries.
Mr Zardari was already facing a big opposition from PML-N in Punjab for the announcement of a new Sirayeki province within Punjab, There is another demand for ‘Hazara province’, (which is however, not that effective like the demand of Sirayeki Sooba), so naturally he was not in mood to continue controversy in Sindh. Therefore, he was left with no option but to withdraw what they announced in Sindh. He knew about the opposition and half-heartedly efforts of his Sindhi cabinet, therefore, he sent his personal advisor Mr Babar Awan to negotiate with governor. They hoped and tried to convince MQM for the current system, ,. However, MQM remained constant and rigid on their demand, and there was no way left but to accept. He therefore, called Governor to Islamabad and it has been said that he took the assurance for the stability of law and order condition and in return ordered to roll back the commissionaire system and again adopt the Mayor system which was introduced by the military dictator Mr Musharraf. Now what have decided, that Karachi and Hyderabad would continue the Musharraf’s system with same administration while the rest of Sindh would follow the commissioner system. District Hyderabad is again divided into five small districts and Karachi has been merged into one as per wishes of MQM.
Mr Awan and Governor Sindh announced that in their combined press conference. The stress and despair was clearly be seen by the faces Sindhi ministers who remained quiet in the whole announcement.
People in Sindh have taken the decision as betrayal with the soil of Sindh. The Sindhi nationalists leaders including Mr Ayaz L. palijo, Dr Safdar Sarki, and Dr Qadir Magsi have announced for a massive agitation against PPP’s government. They have also called for a full strike in Sindh on Monday 8th March. Sindhi journalists including activists (like Ms Arfana Mallah) has appealed people to come on roads for strong protests , spread agitation and throw trash, rubbish on PPP’s ministers. She further suggests people to show shoes on each and every MPA or MNA of the party. Sindhi newspapers are also appealing people to boycott PPP. Bringing all into an account it is really a very difficult position for PPP to defend their decision. PPP’s ministers are in a condition that is more awkward, as if they condemn the decision, they will face trouble by Mr Zardari, and if they support the decision, the public is certainly going to give them a very tough time. Because the question is still on same place that ‘okay fine’, he has pleased MQM but now what he would do to satisfy Sindhis, who are claiming to be betrayed by their own leaders. However, according to a provincial minister Mr Soomro, this decision is just an announcement and an ordinance, which would lose effect after 60 days if not passed by assembly. But, even if it is for time being, even if it is to keep situation in control, as the government is going to face a big task for division of Punjab. The people are fair to ask that why and how could they agree to divide Sindh into two parts, which is nothing but the beginning of the old controversy since 1973 for Sindh to be divided into rural and urban parts? They are fair enough to think that what was the reason behind this whole drama?
That has taken hundreds of lives of innocents and brought more bloodshed and anarchy in province. Which is already disrupted due to chronic old issues of inflation and load shading, besides this decision has given a new life to never elected Sindhi activists who may take the anger of public for granted and which would bring a major damage in the popularity of PPP in Sindh which is already at risk due to unemployment and terrorism.
However, again another senior party leader said in private meeting that wait and see, we are going to take it back again. Therefore, it can be assumed again that it is going to be another tactics of Mr Zardari to continue his doctrine of rolling back his own decisions, which is nothing but a new strategy in the modern age of politics.

Pakistan Navy Under Attack

The PNS Mehran Air Base, Karachi has been attacked by an unidentified number of terrorists, armed with explosive material, rocket launchers, hand grenades and other guns. There had been a massive gunshots were heard and fire was seen from the base.
Pakistan Navy is under attack. And this time it is not from India, not from any drone attack of US. It is from our own funded brother TALIBANS.
They vandalised the base, Officials said the gunmen had attacked three hangars housing aircraft. Nine explosions were reported from the base, with jet fuel tanks possibly catching fire and exploding two P-3 Orion Aircraft, and killed One Ranger, 4 Navy officers, injured nine officers and still fighting and firing after 8 hours of attack started. It could show how determined, strong and well trained they are. Pakistani interior minister Mr Rehman Malik seemed to be at giving up position; his statement "We cannot deploy soldiers at every corner of country" expresses the big failure of security, lapse of intelligence and responsibility. He dropped the blame on Taliban supporters and declared it as a war against PAKISTANI FORCES instead of a terror attack. He was failed to satisfy the press when they asked about the security of base. Because it is not every corner of the country, it is right inside the naval base. The style of attack is similar like the attack of Sri Lankan team in Lahore (March 2009). However, this time according to eyewitnesses they were in cars. In previous attack, they were successful to run away however, in present attack they are still fighting and firing.

The question is "How did they enter?"

Where was the security? Were they in Uniforms?, did some insider helped them? or they were so negligent that no precautions or measures were taken to protect the base. It seemed left on the hope, that nobody would dare to enter due to the terror of base. According to Navy official Commodore Irfan, they entered from three sides of the base. He said that “the naval and SSG commandos are careful during the operation, therefore it has taken so many hours.” According to unconfirmed reports, there is possibility of holding officials as hostages from terrorists; therefore, it is taking so long to complete the operation.
I am again confused that how could they managed to take a large amount of ammunition inside, how is this possible that about a dozen (or may be more) of people enter and nobody could stop them. It could only be possible after a solid and long planning. Now if there was any planning, they must have wandered around the base, how and why they were unseen from the eyes of our agencies?, When there were already reports of massive attacks, which was somehow deceived by them for earlier small attack on naval buses (April 26th 2011) by taking five naval officers including two naval lady doctors.
It is surprising that after Abbottabad incident when the threats had been issued from Taliban and Al-Qaeda then why such a big security lapse. However, it has been denied as usual by the naval spokesperson and he reluctantly stressed upon the HIGH ALERT POSITION. Nevertheless, if such incident can happen during high alert position, then are our nuclear warheads are safe? What is the guarantee that same attacks cannot be taken place there and can cause a more big damage? Were the agencies bit relieved after attacks on naval buses in Karachi that yes now it has happened and no further crisis is going to happen?
Why couldn’t they realise that It is similar to strategic planned attacks of Al-Qaeda to deceive Pakistani intelligence; they diverted them to that TRAILER attack, and kept planning for the MAJOR SHOW. Exactly the same tactics, which was done on the assassination of Miss Bhutto, that first there was firing on Ex-Prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s rally and then a massive explosion on Miss Bhutto’s rally which took her life.
Now another question, that Will they be captured alive? Moreover, if yes, will they be brought under any public trial? Will the Pakistani nation ever come to know about the mastermind of this attack? As this is history of Pakistan in controversies that such proceedings or investigations are never shown to public. In addition, never brought before media, therefore, we have always remained unaware of the actual conspiracies. We blame India and US, but what to do with these people, who are none other but our own fellow citizens. What shall be the excuse to attack our own forces and how people would react, as it has been observed that not only few people of coalition parties but also some media anchors clearly showed their sympathy to Bin Laden by declaring him as a Martyr? Who is responsible to brain wash the nation where literacy rate is hopelessly low, where electricity is only provided for few hours a day, where inflation has eaten the flesh of a poor men. Where suicidal rate is increasing day by day, where frustration has rose so much that if a woman is asking for separation, she is poured by acid, where Police is so powerless, and then despite of knowing the target killers they are helpless to arrest them due to political pressure.
The main issue is to change school of thought which seems impossible, I wonder when ISI chief clearly taunted a religious leader in National Assembly for taking dollars from some countries then why they are not being watched. How and who made it possible to bring a large number of ammunition in Karachi which could explode not only base but it can cause more destruction. We are literary in hands of terrorists who are sympathised and supported by a large number of population as our Muslim fighters . Because a common man is only watching the propaganda against drone attacks, he is not well informed by the brutality of these terrorists.

Who is coming to save us from this eternal evil?

Post Bin Laden Period

And now when the DNA has been proven 99.9% correct.(Announced by US Officials)
The question comes in minds that is the war against terror is really over?
There are other questions too that how he was living in a very posh city and just a kilometre away from Military academy kakol??
Why none of Pakistani agency came to know about his presence?
Why Saudis refused to accept his body?
And what would be the reaction of AlQaeda after his burial in sea?

According to Ex Pakistani President Mr Musharraf "The target has been down, The battle has been won but the war is not yet over".
Pakistani tehreek-e-Taliban has issued a threat " Our first target is Pakistani Military and rulers and America is next". Now where this all is heading too.
Pakistani nation will suffer a double threat, one is from Taliban who are already successful for killing people and bringing the terror in daily life by continuous bombings, blasts and other attacks. The recent attack on the bus of Navy in Karachi did not only caused fear but it rose questions that why the network of Pakistani intelligence is so poor. When they had information about the attacks then why no precautionary step was taken.
Similarly, US will be more furious as the main hunt is down in Pakistan, however, Pakistani agencies kept denying since years about the presence of Osama in Pakistan but his hunt in Pakistan has proved that US information was never wrong. Surprisingly the ISPR is silent, and so far a very brief press release has been issued neither from Pakistani Foreign office that the operation was held without informing Pakistan.
Pakistani Prime Minister Mr Gilani has expressed his views of his death as a big victory and that he was involved in terror attacks in Pakistan. But Mr. Musharraf has again expressed his views that this operation is a big blow for Pakistani sovereignty as none of the agencies nor the government was informed.
The matter asks about the source of information that who gave this exclusive news about this high value target to US agencies, few sources are linking up the arrest of Omar Patek and some sources are linking up to complete success of US intelligence network which is successfully working in Pakistan, despite of many issues after Raymond Davis case.

But we have to wait and see about the scenario after Bin laden. Pakistani Nation and people are again under big test as being under threats of PTT who will certainly not be silent after this big loss and will certainly bring more terror in Pakistan.

SHAMA JUNEJO

Osama Bin Laden Killed in Pakistan

Osama bin Laden, the world's most wanted terrorist is finally dead and his body has been rocovered by US authorities near Abottabad Pakistan.
This is confirmed by president Barack Obama in his speech.
During the operation, one helicopter was also shot down. There are news of this operation that 3 men killed and 2 women injured (now arrested) in this operation.
The Al-Qaeda leader was killed in a ground operation in a mansion outside Islamabad in an operation based on US intelligence. This is still to be confirmed that was it only operation of US agencies or was it done by the help of Pakistani agencies too?
Osama remained as a big terror for whole world specially for USA since 9/11 attacks in which nearly 3500 peple died.
Al-Qaeda took responisbilty of this attack and Osama always felt pride and never denied.
He had been a big target for search operations in Afghanistan and in Pakistan. It was allegation of US intelligence since many years that there could be possibilities of his presence in Pakistan. Which was always strongly denied by Pakistani military agencies, however, his presence and killing near the capital has rose many questions and now it is the matter of thought that how he was living in Pakistan and how Pakistani intelligence agencies were unaware of his presence, and if no, then why the operation was held by US agencies and not by Pakistani agencies.

Now the question is this, that what would be the reaction of Alqaeda after this big blow, as Aiman Ul Zawahiri is still hiding, and he is the one who is incharge of whole operational activities of Alqaeda in world wide terror attack.

This is big political success for Obama just before elections as his complete focus on recent operation to vanquish the main regime of Alqaeda. However, it can be a big security threat for the law and order condition in Pakistan, which has always been under threat of Al-Qaeda.

Moreever, it is being doubted by a Pakistani Journalist Hamid Mir and he is reluctantly denying that the news could not be true or authentic. He is claiming about the resembleness of Bin Laden's sons with him. And there has been a new statement by Pakistan tehreek taliaban about denial of his death.
Now question has arised that how can be US Authorities so confident that even Obama announced it.?
