The burn victims of Pakistan..!!!
She gave up…!
She had to…,
She fought for justice for twelve years, but finally she gave up.
She should have…
She had to…!
I still remember that morning of 15th May 2000, when I read about her in a newspaper, saw her terrible condition in photos, and prayed for her death, as in this ISLAMIC DEMOCRACTIC OF PAKISTAN, I could not hope for any miracle for her.
As who would give justice to a woman, who belonged to Napier Road?
These incidents rather are lesson for such women, who dream to lead a respectable life and attempt to marry a RESPECTED man. No matter if, third or fourth, but one should appreciate that a whore has become a LEGAL wife.
I, therefore, forgotten her in few months. Her name went out of memory, like other unimportant things, however, she again came under headlines when Bilal khar released on bail in 2003. The private media channels gave her coverage, and I wondered, that why that crazy girl still hoping for justice?
And this happened, she never found justice, neither anyone else did, women like her kept facing more burns, or other assaults. Mukhtaran Mayi was raped, many others too, who were not lucky enough to find even a sub line in any newspaper. Some of them persuaded but even then disappeared in the files of ACTIVE JUDICIARY. Media, however, played a vital role, like for finding of a dancer Sapna, who also disappeared after getting divorce by another feudal. Nevertheless, nothing happened, neither it can be.
However, our parliament did pass a bill in 2012, which has become a law after assent of Senate and later from president Zardari. Nevertheless, to give a tribute to this law, next day a woman again burnt by acid, another killed as Kari by her brother and the show continues, it will unfortunately continue. Such a great implementation of the law, to give rights to victims against acid burning and sexual harassment.
Therefore, what a great joke it would be, if women continue to hope for the miracles that these defendants would get death penalty, in the country, where more than half of the men take it as their right to beat their wives, daughters, or sisters. Who cares, that it is not the right given by any constitution or religion. Where anyone can throw an acid and then run away, or even if he is caught, a clever lawyer can get him out of bail, and then the victim either runs through the courts for years or commit suicide like Fakhra. As miracles, do not happen in reality. Where police officers are responsible for raping schoolgirls, where politicians are free to take any woman as granted and then do whatever they want. Where even a highly educated woman is a victim of domestic violence, Where women, who fight for their rights, are..…! (Readers may know or guess that what word should be there to fill these blanks)
Where 90% of husbands beat their wives, no matter what social status, even these human right activists would never complain. As what society would say that her husband also beats her too? Where abusing, slapping or punching a woman is not even a considerable issue, but a common thing. Where complaining for rape or violence or sexual harassment either is an attempt to lose your dignity or is taken as a cheap and quick way to get money and fame, or to get asylum in European countries. Where working women have taken this as their destiny to tolerate the sexual harassment as a part of normal life, no matter that they are a lower middle class receptionists, a high class business icon, an actress, or an active member of any political party, because can anyone imagine that a woman party worker could make a complaint against her party leader or official.
Can anyone think that such accused like Bilal Khar or Khosa will get any conviction by our judicial system?
We are the citizens of the country, where “Paisa bolta hai” (Money talks), where victims sell their property pay money to get the justice done, and defendants throw money to get it delayed.
Therefore, can, we find justice? Where the easiest way to get rid of troubles is to commit suicide like Fakhra did,
Therefore, she did right, she absolutely did right.
I only wonder, that how could she fight for twelve long years, she should have done it a long ago.
As victims will continue to be burned, raped, or killed, by these barbarians, and if someone survives, then the betterment for their own safety and respect is to keep quiet or to commit suicide, as the bill is only to present a softer image of Pakistan and then to get aid. It has nothing to do with the justice. Our chief justice is only to see NRO and disqualify officials; he has nothing to do with the speedy justice. so the lower judiciary is free to keep cases pending for decades, Where if some woman like Sharmeen, gets Oscar, is rightly to be ridiculed by majority of the media and CIVIL society that she has rather brought defame for the country for showing dirty laundry to the world.
Therefore, why one should worry for this woman and her note “I am ending my life as a protest for injustice done with women like me”. She had to give up; she had to commit suicide, as that was the only way to escape the miseries.
Therefore, Rest in peace Fakhira, you finally found peace.

Good Luck Marvi
After almost one year of resignation, an intense dramatic
crush and then separation with PTI, finally the fully loaded but unguided
missile of Sindh has landed in the fields of Raiwand. Many authentic sources
and then later her own tweets already confirmed a day before that the young
lady had decided for her new political venture. However, the issue is that
would the rebellion survive under the supremacy of Takht-e-Lahore.
In a press conference with Mian Nawaz Sharif, she did not do
any effort to hid her excitement and happiness, and expressed her emotions that
she is relieved after a long run. She further said that she could not tolerate
to struggle for democracy within the parties of establishment.
Establishment’s parties..?
The party which launched her and made Marvi Memon or the
party where she was thrown out before arrival.
Any ways, well said Ms Memon and well done for your
marketing for Chaudhry brothers. And well done for the statement that she has
entered in the party as an ordinary worker. One must learn from the experiences
and the talented lady like her shall not make the same mistake again.
Her skills are certainly be assessed by the statement of
Mian Nawaz Sharif, who has finally accepted the return of Chauhdary brothers.
He could even show his more kindness if would welcome Shaikh Rasheed too.
This is the dilemma of Pakistan Politics that nothing is
impossible; as we could see the extract of impossible turning to possible in
the welcoming speech of Mian Sahib for leaving an invitation to PML-Q.
Another dilemma that
the leadership always remain in the family. BB came after Bhutto, then Bilawal
replaced BB, and perhaps he would surrender when Asifa will be able to command.
It is same in PML-N, same in PML-Q; PTI is display of Imran’s charisma while
MQM is nothing without Altaf Hussain. Therefore,
people with potential like Marvi would never be able to find top place in any
party. In fact, it is not only Marvi,
Javed Hashmi and many others faced the same, and unfortunately, one does not
see any ray of hope either for anyone in future as well.
Nevertheless, when she started her political career in
Musharraf’s regime, it was obvious that Miss Memon is not going to compromise being
an ordinary member of national assembly. She successfully made her place not
only within the party but also in the media due to her provoking statements.
She was rather more successful being in opposition, however,
when PML-Q allied with PPP, her decision gave birth to a rebellion. She confronted with the leadership on that
issue and then to resigned from her own mother party; media gave her maximum
coverage, appreciated her decision and sacrifice. Therefore, she came under an impression that she
can bring the change. However, that is irrelevant to write that Shaikh Rasheed
also had same impression that his media presence can bring the change in the
country.
Imran, however, could
give her best place in PTI, as he had the same slogan, people believed in him,
the Lahore rally was really a tsunami, and the team would certainly bring a
positive change in the country, if Imran would not change the lines.
Nevertheless, as politics is the game of dirty promises, therefore, he went
under invisible obligations of unseen guarantors or mentors. The power players found a better medium or
short cut to come in power, and he compromised on the hope that his tsunami
will vanquish all opponents. However, the team he has inducted is so powerful
that even he could not dare to disagree the decision of the committee. That is
now part of the record that how he signed the letter for assurance; but then
failed to convince the party giants. Because
the big players knew that, the rebellion will keep fighting on compromises,
which could ruin their plan to do anything to get power.
The trauma of this sudden separation and the media war were
too much to bear for Marvi. However, she did not surrender or kept quiet, besides
she had a visible support of PML-N in all media war. It was obvious and
predicted by many analysts that the next venture of her political career is now
PML-N.
Now, the question that why she chose PML-N, people would
certainly not have that short memory that the how Ms Memon fought on all forums
and remained against to PML-N, So why another crush with the enemy?
The fact is, that she would never go to PPP due to
fundamental differences despite the fact that a part of PPP has some soft
corner for her. However, the presence of other strong, loud mouth, and young women
like Shazia Mari and Sharmila Farooqi would make it impossible for her to come
in lime light and make the place what she always needed. She always dreamt to get a prime position, while
PPP’s is basic criteria is about sacrifice. Same would happen in MQM, the
strict party lines and the discipline under the shadow of Altaf Hussain could make
it impossible for her to tolerate. The last factor was a nationalist, which is
the actual reason that PML-N decided to make an investment. It is crystal like
clear that Marvis is leftist, even if she denies, but her moves, her presence
to go in rallies, fight for the rights or labourers and speak out on other issues has developed close ties and
contacts with nationalists. PML-N has no place in Sindh, their four-year’s
desperate efforts has given nothing but sheer disappointment to the party. Therefore,
Marvi can be the key to open to doors of PML-N on nationalists or can become a
source for any future alliance to counter PPP’s hold in interior Sindh.
Politics is the name of give and take; she was desperate for a platform while
they needed a loaded gun to not onlyto start fire on PPP, but to replace the respected Gaus Ali Shah in future, as his age is his biggest enemy to play on front foot. Therefore, not a bad choice for PML for the next president of Sindh PML-N and GOOD LUCK for Ms Memon too that sooner or later she will get some position to fulfil her dream. Now, the actual drama is going
to start that who will use who?
As compromises and give and take is fine at it's place but the rebellion will always inside her. Mian
Sahib has nevertheless, has declared her as a new asset of PML-N but isn't he well aware of the potential of this fully loaded missile and must have
kept the strategy to keep the rebellion in control?

The Baluchistan Conspiracy! What is the truth behind the insurgency movement?
"It is well that war is so terrible, else we
should grow too fond of it." These words of General Lee (famous as America’s
son of revolutionary war) to his subordinate General Longstreet, popped up in
my thoughts when I came to know about the resolution on the freedom of
Baluchistan in the US House of Representatives by Republican Congressman Dana
Rohrabacher.
Baluchistan, the
burning province of Pakistan, is not only having the rebellion movement but
also facing a conspiracy on the name of insurgency. The so called ‘independence
movement’, which had been going on since 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with the help of a
few neighbours, got a boost when the former Chief Minister Nawab Akbar Bugti was
killed in a military operation in August 2006 during Musharraf’s regime.
Situation went beyond control due to hundreds of subsequent kidnappings of
Baloch men by ISI and other agencies with some still missing and some found
dead at different places.
The present PPP led-government
although sought remission from Balochis, but they could not stop the violence
and the extra judicial killings or kidnappings, neither they were ever able to
get anyone released from invisible prisons of the agencies. The fury is
reaching its height, after the murder of Balochistan Member of Parliament
Domki’s wife and daughter, who was also granddaughter of Nawab Akbar Bugti. Women
folk are highly respected in Baloch traditions. If one sends his woman or
daughter to his enemy for forgiveness, they not only forgive but they give her
as big respect as one can imagine. Therefore, in that nation the murder of a
woman is beyond any limit of tolerance and will never be forgiven by Baloch
tribes, who are openly saying that first agencies killed their men but now they
are killing their women and children.
On the other hand, the
life of Non Balochis is also worst in Baluchistan. There are frequent incidents
where Non-Balochis especially Punjabi speaking Teachers, doctors, labourers,
businessmen and others kidnapped and then executed by Baloch activists. The
case of a lady professor of Baluchistan University Nazima Talib, who was gunned
down in 2010 by these activists caused a furore in Punjab. Recently dozens of
Hazaras were kidnapped and then shot dead by Baloch activists on ethnic basis.
Police is completely
ineffective and can operate only in limited areas as per law. The other force
called Baloch Levies is at best semi-formal and highly politicised and
therefore having very limited efficiency. It is only the intelligence agencies,
army, or Frontier Constabulary, who could play a vital role for maintaining the
law and order. Nevertheless, it is also fact that it is also these agencies who
are actually blamed for the whole crisis. They have their own view that they
cannot leave the country and cities in the hands of rebels who blow oil pipelines,
railway lines, schools and universities. They also are not agreed to accept
that their highhanded attitude has caused serious violation of human rights and
has ripped all kind of justice. God knows better that are they really working
truly to maintain the peace or fulfilling the unseen agenda to break the
country again. One cannot hope for peace after causing bloodshed.
However, the resolution in American Congress itself
is a big conspiracy. Pakistanis blame the US for causing the whole crisis. As things were in control in Nawaz Sharif’s era
during the 90’s, while Musharraf at one side engaged himself in Afghan
conspiracy and at other hand refused to consider the Baloch point of view after
the rape of a lady doctor allegedly by a military captain, which actually created
this controversy with Bugti tribe and then ended up at his murder. One is
compelled to think that why US did not intervene at that time?
Why US cannot see the genocide in Kashmir, why
there is no resolution for the freedom of Palestine? Moreover, why America only
worries about human rights, when it comes for her own interest in that
particular region.
The matter becomes more
interesting as presented by a Republican member, while one should not forget
that the map of “Greater Baluchistan” was also designed in the era of Bush
government in 2006, when published in ‘The Armed Force Journal” in an article
of Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters, who was deputy chief of Staff for
intelligence US Defence Department. So are we really part of a great game, and
did America waited for six years to bring the situation at this stage to
present the resolution in the congress? I cannot stop myself thinking that was
Bugti’s murder (he was also killed in 2006) a conspiracy to sow the seeds of
insurgency. Pakistanis are compelled to think that why American media has given
importance to Harbayar Mari whose father Khair Bux Mari never accepted Pakistan.
It is another issue that according to Pakistani Ambassador Ms Sherry Rehman ,
he is legend of his lone ranger and even
his own Mari tribe always had conflicts to accept him as their tribal
head. Therefore, why one should give importance to that man, who remained in
exile for the most part of his life, and himself is having disputes with his
own tribe. Why Mr Dana Rohrabacher did not consider or did not care to consider
the view of democratically elected Baluchistan assembly members, who believes
in the sovereignty of Pakistan.
It is true that there
is a serious violation of human rights and there is no second opinion for the
continuing injustice on the Baloch people by a part of military group. Nevertheless,
why national assembly or all elected parties not have given any opportunities
to speak to Baloch people?
I would again repeat the words of General Lee
that ‘It is well that war is so terrible, else we should grow too fond of it’. So
isn’t it showing the classic American mentality and addiction to get themselves engaged in wars, at one side
they are thinking to leave Afghanistan in 2014, and at the other side they are
sowing seeds for another proxy war.
Why one should not
think that, republicans are desperate to enjoy the guilty pleasure for
enhancing the turbulence rather than solving the issues. The issue of timing is
also important in other scenario of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan’s Presidents
are meeting too. The resolution is presented
in the congress when NATO supply is already discontinued from Pakistan after
the killings of Pakistani soldiers in a NATO attack. The PAK-US romance is in
turmoil since last year. The weak, so-called corrupt and fragile democratic
government is certainly not as obedient as Musharraf’s military regime used to be.
Their reluctance especially close ties with Iran and the strategic alliance
with China is a permanent headache for US. Especially when Pakistan announced
about the continuation of the Gas pipeline project with Iran despite of the
sanctions announced for Iran from the west. The timing of this resolution also
shows a warning to China that America would never want them to take control on Gwadar’s
warm waters.
At last, the fear of third world war… as
Europe is going through a serious economic recession, and Arab world is facing
a historical revolutionary movement after almost exactly hundred years since
the end of Ottoman Empire. Afghan
conflict is going to start from the same point where it paused after Allies
attack. Iran is furious after facing sanctions and Israel is planning to attack
Iran. Kashmir is like a silent volcano, which can erupt at any time, and
silence of China not be taken as her weakness.
So are we really
heading for the Third World War...?

To whom it may concern......!
To whom it may concern….
“We cannot resist the fascination
of sacrifice, since a passion for sacrifices is part of a Chess player’s nature.”
My son quoted ‘Rudolf Spiel man’ to his
younger brother while playing chess game. Hmmmm…. these were the words, which
opened a Pandora’s Box of strategies in my head for the upcoming events. The
recent scenario of the memo gate scandal seems like a big chess game to me,
where Mansoor Aijaz is a key pawn, literary least the important piece in the
game, but thanks to our media, for making this man as important as a queen. The
mission is to check mate the king, therefore, the fascination of sacrifice
cannot be resisted.
The pawn is coming to Pakistan, if he is killed who will be in greater loss? The king who has no pawns left for his defence or the great master of the game, who still has many hidden pieces to show up?
The fascination of sacrifice… Hmmmm… (Why is it provoking my thoughts?)
The pawn has become the centre of attention, the pawn is in the news, and he is the man who wrote a series of columns and articles against Pakistan Army and its key organisation ISI. Now the question is “Why is the same army and ISI, blamed in his articles, is supporting the claim of this man and insisting that his memo is a reality?” The lawyer of Aijaz has even requested ISI for his personal security upon his arrival, and there is no refusal so far from them. So why… Why.. Why ISI should provide security to him??? When the government also knows that any mishap can jeopardised their government within hours.
Do not keep out of the mind that the queen is already dead, and the key pawn (Haqqani) already removed from the game. The knight is busy and being attacked from the other players so what next? How to check mate the king…???? Hmmm… again thinking about the conspiracy, that what happened first.
A memo was created immediately after Admiral Michael Mullen’s retirement. He retires on 30th September, and memo saga begins in October, ISI chief goes to London, meets the man who always played a main role to ridicule the army, but even then, he travels, and meets him and then believes in him. Although the note was written in May but in all these months Mansoor Aijaz remains quite, he only makes it public when the Admiral, who is known as a very good friend to Pakistani Ambassador too, retires, (One should not forget that Haqqani is the same man who was to be blamed to penalised ISI during Lugar bill.) They make complaint, asks for the clarification from that night, the king is shocked, however, the other knight (Gilani) calls him and asks him to produce clarifications. He comes, but even then, fails to clarify or let me use the word satisfy, so he fails to satisfy; the king has no other option but to see his removal. The knight is removed by a simple move of that pawn. What a game…
Other players also come, they take the matter in court, it is irrelevant matter that the whole legal organisations of the world wondering about the prosecution that either it is a civil or a criminal proceeding. As if it is a civil proceeding, then burden of proof shall go to the claimant to prove the defendant guilty, while here whole focus is on defendant to prove himself innocent. However, this is Pakistan, and anything can happen here. The hearing was on 16th, but the pawn was told not to ‘show up’, therefore, he was not in the scene.. hmmm.. Where did he go..? Why the great Master did not persuade him ..????
Hmmm….
Ohh… wait .. wait.. Here we go, the master knew that the king might be thrown out in another battle (NRO CASE), therefore, let this man be silent. Hmm … what a move…
Nevertheless, The NRO dust has settled for a while, the knight played wise by appearing in the court, so what next, call Mansoor… Hmmm.. Yeah, this is the time to show up…
Therefore, Aijaz appears in London, he goes to the embassy, takes the visa, and then plans for his testimony. Now, the actual game is about to start, will his evidence is beneficial or his sacrifice….??? Coming back to the word sacrifice, what if there is a plan to make a sacrifice to win the game…
Hmmm…
Still thinking…

The dirty politics of Pakistan
Everything is fair in love and in war and Politics is the art of looking for troubles. Nevertheless, in Pakistan, this is the game of jeopardizing democracy with dirty approaches to gain power. Every way that leads one to the roads of Prime Minister Secretariat or presidency is acceptable. No matter what ‘sacrifice’ or ‘compromise’, but the road must lead to the power.
The country where the history of democracy is very fragile as the military has directly ruled and even in democratic times has intervened secretly, or openly. Either it is judicial murder of Bhutto, removal of Benazir by involving her in murder of her own brother, or the Kargil revenge from Nawaz Sharif. The establishment intervened repeatedly directly or indirectly to derail democracy by creating controversies or by pumping up non-democratic factors to involve in the bloody game of dirty politics.
In 2008, when all parties succeeded against Musharraf’s so-called democracy, it seemed chances to block establishment forever. They could draw a very distinct line of separation of powers within the institutions. However, anything is possible but not fairness in Pakistan. The series of controversies started from 2009 and the recent controversy is the famous Memo gate Scandal. Where an elected president, PM, an ambassador, all are ridiculed due to the poisonous propaganda war of media, opposition and establishment. It is funny that the whole media, opposition, judiciary and even Army regime has believed on that man who has also said that the ISI chief had visited Saudi Arabia to sack the president. ISPR has however, denied the allegation after nine days of the report published in the English newspaper, but Aasma Jehangir has raised the argument in the court that when one part of his statement has caused a big chaos in the country, then why the other part is not considerable? She has also argued that on which authority The ISI chief went to the United Kingdom to meet Mansoor Aijaz. The anger of army is so strong that the rumour factory produced the peak when the president went to Dubai for his treatment. They started writing that he would never come back, and when he returned, they said that he has made a deal to return. And now again when there is no visible deal, they are writing that the government will collapse within either a month or the judiciary will create a way to pin down this government. Unfortunately, the judiciary has also become controversial after giving an ambiguous protocol to Nawaz Sharif, which is shown by many channels and have raised the question on the impartiality of Supreme Court. PPP is fair to argue that why judiciary is always active against them and why not for anyone else.
However, apart from the media hype, the government is pretending to work normally and making the last reforms, which they should have done a long ago, as general people really do not care whether who remain or not, or about the memo scandal or the strategic conspiracies they only care for their own issues. They only care for electricity, gas, and fuel prices or the availability. Nevertheless, the misfortune for the country continues to keep nation busy in this no agenda, stock exchanges are down, economy has no future, factories are closed due to no gas and electricity , police is demoralised, but the dirty game is on. The only agenda for an invisible mastermind is to demolish the system.
Everybody say that he would not play under the hands of establishment yet they do exactly the same, what is written by some invisible ghost in the script for them to play. They think that they are playing the game but in fact, they are part of that great game which has made politics nothing but a very dirty business in Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif needs new elections, Imran needs new elections, or may be people also need new elections, but what is the manifesto or back up to prove this government wrong?
People had great hope in Imran, who could become a ray of hope after fifteen years of struggle, but the way he is inducting bad reputed and rotten politicians, has created many doubts about his credibility that either he is a hypocrite or desperate to do anything to get power. The allegation that establishment is on his back is also a big question, as he disclosed name of Mr Haqqani (Ex Ambassador of Pakistan in US) in his Lahore rally when nobody knew that Haqqani was involved in the memo scandal. Many wondered that when even government did not know then how he knew about the involvement of Haqqani. Also, A great number of controversial ex ministers and other feudal have joined him so the claim seems vague that he will be affective to stop corruption in the country. He himself has confessed after a big criticism for a new member of his party who has serious allegations of drug dealing, that he could not induct angels in his party when corruption is from top to the roots of the society. He however, still claims that he would bring a great team but from where? The way he has thrown his old and ideological members from the key positions of his party, is exactly opposite what he says. Why people should believe in his words, which is different from his actions.
Similarly, Imran speaks against Drones attacks in Pakistan, while two major members (Mr Qasoori and Qureshi) of his party are ex-foreign ministers of Pakistan. He is unable to answer the question that if he really against these attacks then why he has kept these two men, who were responsible for all foreign policies. Another shock for the public is the language used in his rallies and addresses by him or his number two Mr Qureshi. Qureshi had a great image as most sophisticated foreign minister after Bhutto. However, the way he criticise the president with cheap and filthy words, has created a big question that are they really going to bring change for which civil society dreamt since decades? The most fearful thing is the development of a very dangerous trend from his Qasoor gathering, where people have vandalised almost 10 million worth property. Media showed live that how did they looted madly, took even banners to make blankets in their homes. However, Instead of condemning the attempt, he rather protected them that they did it due to poverty. The civil society supported him blankly in all these years is in shock that why he defended them when he could request them to return the goods or could ask the police to find the goods, they must have been thinking that is he really the leader, they are dreaming for ?

Hi Tony Blair! Isn’t it time to Say “Yes” or “No”????
August 2011 was the month of storms. Irene for America, riots for Britain, while in Pakistan, the super nova was blown by Dr Zulfiqar Mirza (Former home minister of Sindh Assembly), by declaring Altaf Hussain as head of terrorist organisation. He mesmerised the Pakistani media and nation for completely two consecutive hours during his live press conference by holding holy book Quran on his head. He made a number of enormous allegations not only against Mr Hussain but also against Home Minister Mr Rehman Malik, for being responsible on Karachi’s situation but declared him as “BIGGEST LIAR OF THE HISTORY”.
He also showed a letter written by Mr Altaf Hussain on 23rd September 2001 to the ex-prime minister of UK Mr Tony Blair. In that, he seeks disbandment of the Inter-services intelligence agency ISI in Pakistan. He offers his party services to arrange high scale demonstrations in favour of UK and US. He also offers to provide resources for human intelligence within Pakistan and in Afghanistan against terrorism. He assures that his people will also keep an eye on the activities of religious madrasas in Sindh and Punjab. He offers that first demonstration will held on 26th of September 2001 in the major city of Pakistan, Karachi, where he assures the presence of hundreds of thousands of people. In return, he demands for jobs of Muhajir and Sindhis in Sindh police. He shows his deep concern against ISI that if they would not be disband; they would PRODUCE more Osama Bin Laden in the country and region.
Dr Mirza also alleged Mr Hussain that he told him in person during their London meeting that he is working under US agenda to break the Pakistan by killing Pashtuns. Before making this allegation he did not only kiss the holy book several times but he kept holding over his head until completed the statement, The style of this statement naturally created an earth quake in Pakistan’s politics. Where it is a custom to take an oath on the holy book before any controversial statement, and once they do it, It is assumed that whatever they have said, shall be taken as the truth. His outburst style with holding the holy book and then accusing Mr Hussain and Rehman Malik captured the attention of public and media. He suddenly became the most important and most discussed person of Pakistan in Pakistani media and people. Therefore, for counter statement, people would not accept any justification but Quran.
MQM remained quiet for few days, which can be said a huge mistake by the party. As people were supposed to assume that whatever he had said and alleged was completely authentic. In some newspapers, a number of journalists (like Ansar Abbassi Jang Group) wrote that the SPY MASTER (THE ISI CHIEF) had also confirmed that the letter is genuine.
Again, there was no justification made by MQM until the former Mayor of Karachi Mr Mustafa Kamal made counter allegations against Mr Mirza while for the letter he declared it bogus only on the reason that the address mentioned on the letter pad is wrong address. He said that the address on the letter is “70 Colindale Road” which is bogus and fake as the current office of MQM is at Edgware road. However, his justification was highly ridiculed by media, as the above address is on MQM’s own website in their old archives. And it has been proved by many other resources and press records that MQM used 70 Colindale Road as their office. Therefore, the hype and the heating conspiracy of the letter written to Mr Blare really created a great turbulence within the country after his statement. Now there was nothing left for MQM either to confess for that letter and the other allegation or to bring some more solid statement. Therefore, on Friday 9th of September, MQM announced that Mr Hussain is about to come with a boosting address to his party workers with a blasting truth revealing press conference.
He held a live press conference on same evening, which is said to be the longest live press conference in the history of Pakistani media. More than 60 channels telecasted his live speech, which lasted more than three hours. Despite answering about the allegation of Zulfiqar Mirza Altaf Hussain came along with more conspiracies.
He showed a map in which Pakistan not only shown into multiple independent regions, but some of her part is also allied with Afghanistan; He expressed his fear that he will be soon killed as he is against the international conspiracy plan for breaking Pakistan.
When he was asked by a journalist that who made that plan? He blamed America.
Apart from a huge criticism of his longest ever speech, his awkward mimics, singing, threatening and various moods, he completely ignored Dr Mirza’s allegation rather he avoided to answer when was asked, nevertheless, it was clear from his body language that he was scared. But, why and from whom he was scared?
Now there are two questions….
1- Does he really know about some conspiracy to break Pakistan? If so, why did he named America when he himself offers them to work for them for the war against terror in the alleged letter written in 2001. What happened in these ten years that America wants him to get rid of him? Did he work against them? Alternatively, did he do something beyond he was granted permission to do so?
2- Does he know about the progress of Imran Farooq murder case investigation? As there is very strong rumour in Pakistani media, that Scotland Yard have some clue of his involvement, while MI6 is supporting him. This is irrelevant question that Why and how this rumour has spread?
Now Apart from digging more in the discussion of “kon Sacha Kon Jhoota” (who is liar and who is not) to break the Pakistan, I am only confused and highly curious about the authenticity of the letter... I think Mr Blair is the person, who can answer the question that was there any such letter written to him. I hope that he would not ignore to answer my question. Apart from going into further controversies, I only request him to say Yes or No…
I really have no concern that If yes, then what was the action taken from the UK government for his offer? If so, did UK really take the benefit of his offer?
I do not want to ask that what the resources provided from MQM to help US.
I do not want to ask this too that How far they helped US to provide human intelligence against Taliban.
I am not interested that Was Musharraf aware of this offer? If yes, then did he take any action against his own subordinate agency ISI chief General Mahmood? As MQM was major part of his government. Can one assume that the sudden removal or retirement of General Mahmood was result of this letter?
No.. I really do not want to go in deep controversies despite the fact that the name of my blog itself is @controversies.
I only need you to answer YES or NO.
How simple…
So Will You..???
Can You…????

From ‘The Doctrine of reconciliation’ towards ‘The Doctrine of Rollback’.
Could anyone imagine 30 years ago on the “Doctrine of Rollback” by the most powerful and popular party of Pakistan, whose leader chosen death but never stepped back or apologised for his policies?
The legacy of Bhutto continued even by his heir Ms Bhutto, who faced a continuous trauma and turbulence during her, both tenures. She was compelled to leave the country after not finding justice even from courts of that time, but even then she struggled along with her bitter political enemy for the survival of democracy during Musharraf’s military regime. The combined struggle forced Mr Musharraf to step back and start negotiations with Ms Bhutto and thus was the beginning of ‘The doctrine of reconciliation’, which was continued even after brutal assassination by her husband Mr Asif A. Zardari in the making of his coalition government along with their political opponent Mian Nawaz Sharif.
It seemed in those days that Pakistan will soon emerge as a strong economical and peaceful country in the region again, where a bloody war continued in Afghanistan due to American vandalism and terrorism took the life of the only most popular leader of the country.
However, a series of blunders turned the new friends into worst enemies.
It is certainly not funny to see the recent history of decisions by the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party. The series of rolling over started refusal of restoration the judiciary which ended Musharraf’s stable government. Mr Zardari, however, again convinced Mian Sharif about his compulsions and they struggled together to remove Musharraf together in the mid of 2008. After the removal of Musharraf, Mr Zardari chose himself to become new president of Pakistan as at one side he did not wanted another Leghari to end their government and at the other side he was afraid by the re-opening of the cases which were ceased by the NRO.
He was elected with a huge majority and it was possible not to create any conflict by again refusing the restoration of CJ for which he struggled to kick out Musharraf out of the country. However, the inside men of PPP claims that he still was helpless and had to follow the instructions of the unseen. Anyway, he took the blame on him, and said that promises are only promises and they shouldn’t be taken as verses of Quran.
His statement provoked anger and rage in the leadership of PML-N and from beginning of 2009, an incredible movement was started by Mian Nawaz sharif, which was highly supported by the top class civil society, media and even by the inner core of army. The governor raaj in Punjab and the solid statements of presidents let everybody think that the mind-set of PPP’s government is clear, and they would never step back. However, the whole exaggeration ended by a four line summary issued by the presidency for the restoration of CJ at mid night, Mian Nawaz Sharif was convinced by the ‘unseen’ to go back and sleep at home instead of continuing long march towards Islamabad.
That decision certainly ridiculed the whole regime of PPP, that if they had to step back then what was the reason to upraise the issue. Publically, whatever they said but in private most of the PPP ministers confessed with embarrassment that even they would not know an hour before that such order is going to be issued by presidency, they further said that if Nawaz Sharif would succeed to reach Islamabad, it might end their newly born government. Therefore, the high command had no other way left but to rollback.
Nevertheless, the series of funny decisions continued, it had become the trademark of PPP on behaving rigidly on important issues, uprising the chaos on that particular issue, allowing ministers for furious statements and then again rollback at the same position, from where they started.
A same drama has been repeated in the recent conflict with MQM (Which is Karachi and Hyderabad’s largest part). The controversy started on the possession of the seats in Karachi for AJK elections. MQM’s leader Altaf Hussain claimed that they were told to surrender one seat for PPP. Which they wouldn’t accept in any case, after his typical furious speech, they resigned from the provincial government and as the reaction, PPP’s government announced to end the recent local bodies electoral system along with bringing back the old commissionaire system. The order was passed by the acting governor Sindh Mr Nisar Khoro and was approved in a very convulsive session of Sindh Assembly where majority of members supported the ordinance.
This decision did not only bring back an impetuous and warm welcome by native Sindhis but at the other hand brought massive clashes and massacre backs in Karachi as well. Hundreds of people killed in a week, PPP and ANP blamed MQM, while at the other hand MQM blamed ANP and PPP for the massacre. Police remained powerless and helpless to catch any vigilant. The situation became worst with the statement of Ex-Provincial Interior Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, in which he highly criticized Mutehada’s leader Altaf Hussein. The next day MQM showed up the street power by aiming his house, hundreds of people gathered on the roads of defence to burn out the house of Dr ZulfiqarMirza who is also husband of Pakistan National’s assembly’s speaker Ms Fahmida Mirza. The show created a significant turbulence in president house to calm down the anarchy. The statement was highly disowned by the own leaders of PPP and Dr Mirza was left alone to face the fury of Muhajirs. He did not only immediately issued a video apology but was also called and ridiculed later in president house. However, even that couldn’t stabled the situation. Now there was another voice on roads, which was for a separate “Muhajir Province”, The campaign could not make a significant respectable place even after a number of supporting statements by MQM’s leaders or by non Sindhi media. MQM however, never owned publically that the wall chalking is actually by their own workers, but they warned that such voices were the reaction of the muhajir community after the massacre, and it could rise if they are pushed towards wall.
President Zardari tried to resolve the issue, the analysts says that it was whole set plan by PPP to restore the commissionaire system but they wouldn’t know about the reaction of MQM, which was worst by the statement of Dr Mirza. He made a trip to England and tried the back channel diplomacy by his close friend Dr Asim, but that failed at that moment. The MQM leader Altaf remained very furious and the massacre continued in Karachi. Police, rangers and FC seemed to be completely helpless in that whole scenario. They couldn’t even enter to ‘No Go Areas’ to keep the law and order situation in control rather than to arrest any, it did not showed a complete failure of administration but again it showed the hold of MQM in those particular areas. According to an international observer for UN, the circumstances of Karachi turned worst than Baghdad and there were the signs of a clear civil war between major political groups of Karachi on the hold of areas.
Therefore, Mr Zardari stepped back to their demand (if there was any) for keeping one seat in Karachi. Moreover, it brought back MQM’s governor back to his office to resume charge as Governor Sindh. At that point a senior analyst and journalist Mr Najam Sethi predicted that it would not only end here, but PPP has to roll back the commissionaire system again. However, at that point it was strongly denied by the PPP’s ministers that there is any chance of rolling back the decision. However, at the other hand, their efforts to bring back MQM in power continued, not only this, there were hidden orders to Police not to arrest major political players in recent riots. According to a high rank police officer (posted in Karachi, who requested not to disclose his name) Police is in completely hopeless and helpless condition, as they clearly know who the killers are but they politically pressurized not to arrest them despite of the fact that MQM was in opposition.
As the result, Economy collapsed, business and other activities paralyzed, people suffered but the massacre continued in that cursed city. Besides this whole story, Sindh government kept doing transfers and postings to adjust officers of Police and District management group to place officers in the new system. Dozens of officers posted and transferred, dozens of posts abolished or created.
This situation put MQM too into more pressure, they tried to overcome the crisis by their typical threats, Altaf Hussein appealed to Muhajirs to sell jewellery and buy ration for whole month. It indicated the very serious preparation of upcoming serious civilwar. Not only this, he again issued a highly provoking statement against native Sindhis, which blew the temper of Sindhi nationalist leaders and nations. People immediately came on roads, Nationalists called for an immediate strikes and demanded him to apologise.
His statement was not only taken seriously in India but in UK the vice, foreign minister Mr Alistair Burt expressed his deep concern on that statement with a telephone call to Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad. ( As according to UK Laws, such statements can be taken against peace , which could harm the stay of Mr Altaf Hussain, and it would not matter that either he is British or not ) Therefore, it has been assumed that Dr Ishrat did not only promise for co-operation but, the statement was also immediately taken back with an apology to Sindhi nation by Mr Hussain. He, however, said that the core of his philosophical statement was not for the division of Sindh province and was completely misunderstood by the Sindhis.
However, PPP continued the back channel diplomacy to bring situation in control…, the active Sindhi ministers, and workers were told not to issue any provoking statement. which may have worsen the impacts of negotiations and even the Chief Minister Sindh could not play a major role in these talks with MQM, who did not only demand to roll back the old system but for some key ministries.
Mr Zardari was already facing a big opposition from PML-N in Punjab for the announcement of a new Sirayeki province within Punjab, There is another demand for ‘Hazara province’, (which is however, not that effective like the demand of Sirayeki Sooba), so naturally he was not in mood to continue controversy in Sindh. Therefore, he was left with no option but to withdraw what they announced in Sindh. He knew about the opposition and half-heartedly efforts of his Sindhi cabinet, therefore, he sent his personal advisor Mr Babar Awan to negotiate with governor. They hoped and tried to convince MQM for the current system, ,. However, MQM remained constant and rigid on their demand, and there was no way left but to accept. He therefore, called Governor to Islamabad and it has been said that he took the assurance for the stability of law and order condition and in return ordered to roll back the commissionaire system and again adopt the Mayor system which was introduced by the military dictator Mr Musharraf. Now what have decided, that Karachi and Hyderabad would continue the Musharraf’s system with same administration while the rest of Sindh would follow the commissioner system. District Hyderabad is again divided into five small districts and Karachi has been merged into one as per wishes of MQM.
Mr Awan and Governor Sindh announced that in their combined press conference. The stress and despair was clearly be seen by the faces Sindhi ministers who remained quiet in the whole announcement.
People in Sindh have taken the decision as betrayal with the soil of Sindh. The Sindhi nationalists leaders including Mr Ayaz L. palijo, Dr Safdar Sarki, and Dr Qadir Magsi have announced for a massive agitation against PPP’s government. They have also called for a full strike in Sindh on Monday 8th March. Sindhi journalists including activists (like Ms Arfana Mallah) has appealed people to come on roads for strong protests , spread agitation and throw trash, rubbish on PPP’s ministers. She further suggests people to show shoes on each and every MPA or MNA of the party. Sindhi newspapers are also appealing people to boycott PPP. Bringing all into an account it is really a very difficult position for PPP to defend their decision. PPP’s ministers are in a condition that is more awkward, as if they condemn the decision, they will face trouble by Mr Zardari, and if they support the decision, the public is certainly going to give them a very tough time. Because the question is still on same place that ‘okay fine’, he has pleased MQM but now what he would do to satisfy Sindhis, who are claiming to be betrayed by their own leaders. However, according to a provincial minister Mr Soomro, this decision is just an announcement and an ordinance, which would lose effect after 60 days if not passed by assembly. But, even if it is for time being, even if it is to keep situation in control, as the government is going to face a big task for division of Punjab. The people are fair to ask that why and how could they agree to divide Sindh into two parts, which is nothing but the beginning of the old controversy since 1973 for Sindh to be divided into rural and urban parts? They are fair enough to think that what was the reason behind this whole drama?
That has taken hundreds of lives of innocents and brought more bloodshed and anarchy in province. Which is already disrupted due to chronic old issues of inflation and load shading, besides this decision has given a new life to never elected Sindhi activists who may take the anger of public for granted and which would bring a major damage in the popularity of PPP in Sindh which is already at risk due to unemployment and terrorism.
However, again another senior party leader said in private meeting that wait and see, we are going to take it back again. Therefore, it can be assumed again that it is going to be another tactics of Mr Zardari to continue his doctrine of rolling back his own decisions, which is nothing but a new strategy in the modern age of politics.
